2023 Barn Classes and Rules Announced

Classes and rules are set for this years edition of the Battle at the Barn XV presented by Casey's. Bike, Quads, Mowers, Three Wheelers and Karts classes will follow all the below rules for the two day event.
KARTS
APPROVED KART GAS IS TO BE PURCHACED AT CASEY’S ON HICKORY BLVD, PLEASANT HILL PUMP #1 87 NO ETHANOL
• Rookie Red Plate (Trophy) 5-7, 250 lbs, Clone 250 lbs 375 Gas, Small Pipe, Open Clutch
• Kid Kart (Trophy) 4-7, 150lbs
• Jr 1 Heavy 8-11, 440 Restrictor, Clone 280 lbs .425 Plate, Small Pipe/Weiner Pipe only
• Jr 2 Heavy 12 -15, Clone 320 lbs, .550 Blue Plate, Small Pipe/Weiner Pipe only
• 330 lbs Clone Following 2023 NKA/AKRA Rules (declare at tech), Open Clutch, Big Pipe Allowed
• 370 lbs Clone Following 2023 NKA/AKRA Rules (declare at tech), Open Clutch, Big Pipe Allowed
• Pro Clone, 370 lbs
• Semi – Pro 370 lbs
• KT 100 370 lbs
• Open 4 Cycle, 370 lbs
• Open 2 Cycle, 370 lbs
• Run What Ya Brung (Any motor combination for karts)
• Rookie Kage 5-9 Green Plate, 270 lbs Open Clutch, Big Pipe, Pump Gas, Aluminum
• Seats/Belts Required/No Kart Seats Allowed/Open Tires
• Youth Kage 10-14 Purple Plate Builder Prepared 330 lbs 87 Pump Gas, Aluminum Seats/Belts
• Required/No Kart Seats Allowed/Open Tires
• Predator Following 2023 Central Iowa Predator Kart (CIPKR) Racing Rules (Open Clutch). If you are racing the Predator, you cannot enter another Kart class
• Super Heavy Clone 400 lbs, Drivers must weigh 190 with gear

• 10' Pit Bike – 12 and under (Trophy)

• Mad Dog Bike, 12 & up, 200cc 4 Stroke Limit Air Cooled, 85cc 2 Stroke Limit (No front brake)
• Hooligan Bikes (Stock Frame, Stock Shock Placement, minimum 56” wheelbase, 1985 or newer,18 and over, 650cc Twin and Up, kickstands must be removed or secured)
• Pro Bikes (No front brake, 17” wheels or larger)
• Over 35 Bikes
• Boonie Bikes (Pull Start, 18 and over, Maximum 12” Front & Rear Tire)
• Outlaw Three Wheelers
• Outlaw Mini Trike
